Two Dwellings Going Throughout Illinois at Elmwood

Detroit battles a multi alarm for two dwellings at Illinois and Elmwood. Crews arrived to find two large dwellings going throughout. The chief requesred a second alarm assignment of an additional engine,tower ladder, and squad. With the heavy fire an external attack was ordered. The fire fighters would be on scene for several hours bring the fire under control and performing an extensive overhaul to catch all the remaining hotspots.
