Fiery Crash Baldwin St At East Liberty 4/11/09

Waterbury Fire was dispatched shortly after 4am for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. As the companies went enroute they received info that the car might be on fire. First due Engine 4 arrived to find wreckage strewn over half a city block with the bulk of the car fully engulfed in flames. With the victim obviously deceased from the mechanism of the crash crews were ordered to search the scene for any other possible victims who might have been ejected. The accident reconstruction team was called to the scene to investigate the accident.
