Vehicle Extrication Eastern Ave At Oakville Ave 3/21/09

Waterbury Firefighters extricate one victim of a 2 car t-bone crash at the corner of Eastern Ave and Oakville Ave. Engine 8, Rescue 9, Truck 1, and Car 5 worked to free the woman from her car using the Jaws to pop the badly damaged driver's side door along with the Hurst Ram to roll the dashboard to perform the extrication in about 5 minutes. The woman's injuries which appeared to be nonlifethreatening were treated by the AMR EMS crew on scene.
