Vacant Multi Dwelling Fire North Main at E Farms St

Waterbury Fire was dispatched to a late night fire in a vacant Multi Dwelling on North Main in the area of East Farms St. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke showing. They force entry into the sructure to investigate the source of the smoke and found fire in the walls of the structure. Though the fire, once located was brought under control quickly crews would spend a considerable amount of time on scene ventilating and overhauling to insure all hotspots were extinguished. A representative of the marshal's office was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
