Early Morning Commercial Structure Fire 915 Bank St 11/07/11
Shortly before 4am the Waterbry Fire Dispatch Center received a cell phone call for smoke coming from the roof of Bobbie Allens Bar at 915 Bank St. Fire crews arrived to find heavy fire within the one story structure. Crews pushed in but rapidly deteriorating conditions would have crews ordered out and off the roof as an exerior attack was undertaken. Residents in the two 3 story wood frame exposures were evacuated from their homes as flames blew through the roof. Crews work work for several hours to bring the fire under conrol but not before the structure suffered partial collapse.
