House Fire 25 Shepard Rd
Norfolk volunteers repond to a house fire practically across the street from their headquarters. Oiginal reports were that a handicapped resident of the house might be trapped on the fire floor. Crews arrived to find all residents had escaped the building but one required EMS transport for minor injuries. Mutual aid companies from Canaan,Lakeville,and Winsted assisted the Norfolk fire fighters in bringing the blaze under control.
