Dwelling Fire W.Dakota at John R

Detroit fire fighters are dispatched to a dwelling fire on W.Dakota a the intersection of John R . While enroute they are notified that there are possible children trapped in the structure. With heavy fire in the basement extened to the attic they attempt to make access into the fire and are forced out by the heavy flames and smoke. The order is given for and external attack as it is determined that all occupants are accounted for. After 20 minutes the fire is brought under control and an interior attack is resumed
