Multi Alarm Commercial Structure Fire East Jefferson at Newport Early on the Morning of 10/30/2008
As relief crews were headed to the vacant dwelling fire on Navahoe they came upon these fully involved store fronts. It appeared as though an explosion occurred as the two end stores were fully involved and collapsed with debris being thrown in the vacant lot across Newport St. The crews put in an exceptional effort to keep the fire contained to the two original stores.
